Engineers Without Borders Recognized by NCEES

The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering’s Engineers Without Borders program was recently honored by the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES). While the University of Delaware won the$25,000 grand prize, Univ. of Maryland was one of five $7,500winners. The other co-winners in this category were California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, California State University, Los Angeles, Clemson University, University of New Mexico.

The award was presented on the University’s College Park campus on April 27 by Skip Harclerode, P.E., chair of the Maryland PE board and an alumnus of the university. For more information, please click here
